2026 Applications Open
The Foundation for the Trades Iowa is dedicated to expanding access to industrial arts and technology programs in Iowa schools. With only 48% of schools in the state currently offering these critical programs, the Foundation aims to raise awareness, increase educational opportunities, and provide the necessary resources to strengthen Industrial/Technology curriculums.
Thank you to all who applied last year! The 2025 Grant Cycle is complete and here are the results-- 2025 Grant Recipients
Last April, 34 school districts, representing 81 junior and senior high schools, were invited to apply. This year, we anticipate even greater participation and would love for your school to get involved.
The grant helps support industrial arts and technology programs by providing funding for essential consumables and equipment, ensuring these programs have the resources they need to succeed.
2026 Foundation for the Trades Iowa grants can be awarded in: Grant Wood AEA Seven County area plus two additional counties Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Washington.
